Perpetual Stew in a Rice Cooker Day 1
The first day of Perpetual Stew in a Rice Cooker! The Stew is starting out as a chili con carne and we'll see where it goes from there. Hilary gave the chili a 7/10 but I knew that she didn't want me to get too full of myself and eventually I beat her until she gave it an 8.
Here's the recipe!
1kg ground beef
800g diced tomatoes
1 small tin tomato puree
1 large tin baked beans, drained
1 tin chick peas
2tsp cumin
2tsp curry powder
dash of chipotle marinade
salt and pepper
2 cloves garlic
1 large onion
Brown beef and combine all ingredients in rice cooker. Cook for 1 hour minimum.
Once we were done eating I added the leftover rice, and tomorrow I'll buy some kidney beans to put in as well as some more onion.
